FREE Soccer Sports Camp for Ages 5-12

Monday, July 8 thru Friday, July 12


Learn:  Exercise, Sports Skills, Character, Teamwork, Healthy Habits

Location:   Westmoreland YMCA (AT Johnson Building),

18849 Kings Hwy, Montross, VA
Time:   9am-1pm daily, Monday, July 8- Friday, July 12.  

A healthy lunch will be provided each day.

Each participant will receive a free REACH Soccer Camp T-Shirt.  

This camp is for all youth. You do not have to be a soccer player to participate. Doctors recommend for youth to play multiple different sports.  See information on injury prevention here: https://www.orthoinfo.org/onesportinjury

Daily Schedule (Monday, July 8-Friday, July 12)

All Session will be at the Westmoreland YMCA,18849 Kings Hwy, Montross, VA

8:15-9:00          Arrival, Registration, Drop-off, Check-in

9:00-10:30        Welcome, warm-up, soccer skills, drills, and games

10:30-11:15      Lessons on character , healthy habits, teamwork

11:15-11:45      Lunch, clean-up

11:45-1pm         Recreation, practice, games, fun time

1:00                     Pick-up

This camp is for all youth ages 5-12. You do not have to be a soccer player to participate. See event website for information on why it is healthy for youth to play multiple sports.  There will be plenty of non-soccer games and activities to help you child grow in physical fitness and character.You do not have to attend every day to participate.  

Your child may attend anywhere from 1-5 days.  

If your child will need a ride to/from NNK REACH SOCCER CAMP, or if you need child care before/after soccer camp hours  (8:15am-1pm) for your child to participate, please contact camp co-director Steve Taylor as soon as possible at 571.388.6292 (mobile phone or text) or 804.493.8429 (office.)

This camp is FREE for all youth ages 5-12 to attend. If you would like to make a donation to help cover expenses, it can be made to “Nomini Baptist Church” with subject line “soccer camp.”

Pre-registration may be mailed to Nomini Baptist Church, PO Box 186, Montross, VA 22520, or dropped off at Nomini Baptist Church, or you can pre-register on this page below.  

Participant Waiver & Liability Agreement (Required for all Participants) I understand that there are risks associated with playing all sports and field related activities. In consideration for participation in this sports camp, my signature indicates that I assume the risk of any injuries that may occur during while participating in this event.   I further agree to waive any claims against the leaders, volunteers, sponsors, and partners to this event.  I insure that I am or my child is physically and mentally able to participate in physical activities and have been examined by a licensed medical physician within one (1) year prior to attending this clinic/camp.

I have listed on this form any allergies, medical conditions, and/or special needs pertaining to healthy participation in this event. I give permission for camp volunteers, leaders, coaches, and emergency health care providers to start preliminary treatment and arrange transportation for participant to a local Emergency Room in the event that I or my child become(s) ill or injured.

Registering my child, I acknowledge that I HAVE READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO ALL OF ITS TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS WAIVER AND LIABILITY AGREEMENT INCLUDING PERMISSION TO TREAT AGREEMENT. I further state that I have executed this waiver and liability voluntarily and with full knowledge of its significance to be binding for my child, my heirs, executors, administrators and assigns.
