VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS)
The VISION of Nomini Baptist Church is to be a “vibrant people who want to know and follow Jesus, and we want to be a place where newcomers feel welcomed to explore faith.” Our PHILOSOPHY for FarmFest VBS is to provide an experience that is fun and meaningful for participants of all ages. There will be participant tracks for every age from nursery to seniors. Nomini is an intergenerational church. We believe that God is pleased when families and different ages gather together. On our Sign-Up (link below) you can select your age and we will be sure to place you in the appropriate cohort. You can also use the form to register to volunteer.
Our Farm Fest theme recognizes the truth of how God provides for our every need. Our program will revolve around Psalm 23 (”The Lord is my shepherd...”), along with various gospel parables of Jesus.
Each night will include:

Bible Lesson for Each Night:
Monday: Jesus Cares, Now and Forever!
Parable of the Good Shepard (John 10:1-18)
Tuesday: Jesus Provides, Now and Forever!
Feeding the 5000 (Mark 6:30-44, John 6:1-14)
Wednesday: Jesus Leads, Now and Forever!
Parable of the Sower (Matthew 13:1-23)
Thursday: Jesus Forgives, Now and Forever!
Parable of the Prodigal Son (Luke 15:11-32)
Sunday: Jesus is Our Savior, Now and Forever!
Jesus Appears to Mary in the Garden (John 20:1-18)
Fun Activities Will Include:
Petting zoo, pictures with animals, puppet/ventrloquist show, pictures on tractors, hay rack ride, farmers fashion show, farmers play place, homemade ice cream, farmers art. (Special activities are subject to change.)
Farm Fest VBS is for all ages!
Nomini is an intergenerational church. There is a place for all ages from babies to seniors, and every age in between. For parents and other adults, there is an Adult-Track VBS program taught by pastor-chaplain Jimmy Reamy. You will be able to enjoy plenty of energy and music with the young ones, then turn to an adults-specific, in-depth Bible study.
Of course there is always room for those who wish to participate by volunteering. There is space for activities, registration table, and dinner prep/clean-up. Sign-up below on the registration page if you would like to volunteer to help.
No matter how you get involved with Farm Fest we know that Jesus will use this time to transform you towards greater faithfulness.
