Holy Thursday (aka Maundy Thursday) is a solemn worship service recalling the Passover Meal with Jesus and the Apostles on the night he was arrested.

Nomini Baptist Church offers in-person worship Sundays at 10am. We encourage all attendees to follow current safety guidelines.

Sunday school for all ages is offered in-person at 9am.

Live-Streaming: We continue to live-stream Sunday worship services on our Facebook page for the foreseeable. We also live-stream a pastor-led Bible Study every Wednesday at 12 noon.

Praying for our Community

Nomini Baptist Church has a team that has been praying for the community since July 2020. Life can be hard these days. We want to make a difference. If you received a mailer from us, we prayed in front of your home for YOU and your family. If we can pray for you in person or by phone, contact us using the button below.

Dear All:

Nomini Baptist Church is currently part of a Great Awakening Revival taking place in the Northern Neck and our nation. People are turning back to God and traditional values of family, service, and faith.

God is blessing Nomini with robust Bible study, vibrant powerful worship, expanding mission, and programs for children and youth,

We now offer in-person worship on Sundays at 10am (indoors or outdoors). We continue to live-stream each service beginning at 9:50am from our Facebook page. Our Facebook Page is a great source for daily devotional resources. If you are in need of other ministry services, please contact us.

We seek to be faithful and obedient to God in all circumstances by pointing to Jesus Christ. We will continue to BE THE CHURCH - not the building - the church is the people who love the Lord. We come together as God's people in unity especially in times such as these..

Nomini has been serving God since 1786. Difficult seasons come and go, but God is good all the time. We will continue to live out our purpose:

We are an all-ages church which enjoys a variety of musical styles including traditional, contemporary, classical, gospel, country, and bluegrass. We believe church music should be participatory, not a performance.

The first service of each month tends to have the most traditional style (piano, organ, choir, communion) and it's also the Sunday we observe the Lord's Supper. Music will be different each week because we like variety and we like to worship the Lord through song. (Even if you can't carry a tune in a bucket!)

I give God thanks that you are reading this. May this website and our church help you to experience God.

It is amazing to be in my 9th year as Senior Pastor at Nomini Baptist Church. Every day I count my blessings. I get to experience a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ every single day, and I enjoy my calling to help leader others to a deeper, more meaningful faith for themselves.

The Northern Neck is a wondrous place, and if you live here we want to embrace you to our community. If you are connecting virtually, you are just as important to us because you are part of the CHURCH, the people who love God.

My family and I love it here and God continues to call me to serve here. Won't you join us and experience for yourself the Lord's love at Nomini Baptist Church.
